I would like to know how many of Microsoft developers (mostly us) use Oracle in their projects? How about other database such as MySQL, DB2 etc.
In my projects, I mostly use SQL Server 2008 and MySQL.
Thanks!

But i feel easy and simple to code in SQL Server..
We started migrating all projects from Oracle to SQL Server, its a good experience..

However, in small projects I always recommend SQL Server Express Edition and that is my first choice always. It is free and has full MS SQL power, only limits database size to 2 GB (or more nowadays). On the contrary, Oracle XE allows you to have only one database instance and it cannot be larger than 1 GB.
