using query string with hyperlink

So you need to know what other page that has a link that goes to the page? I think you want the referer property; note that the correct spelling is referrer with a total of three "r"s but the property might be called referer.

if it is static list then you can write like this :

by selected text i mean hyperlink text .

for example if link is a hyperlink then if i click on this then the second page should know that i had click on link .

You say "the selected text"; what is that? What selected text? Navigating to a page does not also select text.
