how to set time interval using timetick in windows application.

in my form no buttons, only using timer.

Hi Reylin,

For your need, Initially on Form_Load Event write the code as like :

private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
MessageBox.Show("Your Time Starts Now.");
}

After that in Tick event as follows :

private void timer1_Tick(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
label1.Text = DateTime.Now.ToString();
}

this code executes but this error will come..

''Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted''.

label1.Text = DateTime.Now.ToString();
}

this code is working but , and also with display message using messgae box. but messagebox is working but the pblm is messagebox.show() is repeatldy displaying more and more depends on timer.. i need just once mesg is display on screen...what shuld i do?

Hi Reylin,
-->Drag a Timer (from Toolbox > Components) and drop to your Form.
-->Set property Enabled to True, and set Interval to 1000 (milliseconds)
-->Double click on Timer1, and write code in Tick event handler. This function will be executed every 1 second and update your label1.

private void timer1_Tick(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
label1.Text = DateTime.Now.ToString();
}
