Validation of a formula

I am not that expert into Regex stuff but for starters, you can go with this.

(If anyone viewing this answer has better pattern for this regex, please comment or correct me)

Regex regex = new Regex("\(\(\([a-z]\+[a-z]\)\*[a-z]\)\/[a-z]\)\*[a-z]") ;
string formula = "" ;//fill in your formula
If(regex.IsMatch(forumla))
{
// your code if formula matches.
}

You can use javascript regular expression to validate a formula, like below :

Whether the syntax of the formula typed by a user in the textbox is correct or not. If it is correct then allow the user to proceed otherwise it will ask the user to correct it and proceed. Because this formula will be evaluated in the future.
