when playing video with src="any url where video is hosted" showing message.

but src="video path" working fine when we give source of our local file path of our solution explorer

Which internet browser are you using (IE 11, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.)? Since you already playback MP4 video files, I think the problem is mostly likely caused by one of the following reasons: 1. It seems that some version of Firefox shows this error when playback MP4 video files. This depends on different factors such as: the format and compression of the source video, the control that you use to playback video files, etc. In general, to my knowledge HTML5 video tags support playing video files without any additional components. But this video tag (by default) supports playing MP4 and OGG format. So if you have a different video format (like MKV, AVI, etc.), you need to convert it to MP4 or OGG before passing it to the HTML5 video tag. I think you could convert these video files using a programming toolkit (leadtools).
