View the pdf file in the gridview

Hi Professionals,

i need to view the pdf in the new tab,Using the linkbutton(Note:Not inside my web application,Files is inside my "D:" )

I used free Spire.PDFViewer to view my PDF on the local files. It has 10 pages limits which meets my demand. FYI, it could work independently with no need of Adobe Reader installed.

Vasanth then you can use like below:

Response.Redirect("~/somePDFFile.pdf");

Create a ashx handler

public class PdfHandler : IHttpHandler
{
public void ProcessRequest (HttpContext context)
{
byte[] data = File.ReadAllBytes(@"Your Path");

context.Response.OutputStream.Write(data, 0, data.Length);
}

public bool IsReusable {
get {
return false;
}
}
}

Vasanth please once try below code:

string pdfPath = Server.MapPath("~/SomePDFFile.pdf"); //PDF file path on your local system
WebClient client = new WebClient();
Byte[] buffer = client.DownloadData(pdfPath);
Response.ContentType = "application/pdf";
Response.AddHeader("content-length", buffer.Length.ToString());
Response.BinaryWrite(buffer);
