ViewModel In MVC4

Hi Kumar ,

ViewModel :

A view mode represents only the data that you want to display on your view,

in which scenario we will used viewmodel :

view model only represents the data that you want to use, nothing else. You can imagine all the unnecessary code and validation if you have a domain model with 20 properties and you only want to update a single value. in this case you would only have this one value/property in the view model and not all the properties that are in the domain object.

In some cases we came up with a requirement where we want to display multiple details(more than one model ) in the same view.
