want to Session killed

Hello guys

I have created webapplication in that one logout page present in that page one logout link when we click on that link session wil clear and remove code write.

But i want to session killed not clear and remove how i can do that

Hi,

You can use Session.Abandon() !!

Session.Clear() will not cause the Session_End eventhandler in your Global.asax file to execute.
But on the other hand Session.Abandon() will remove the session altogether and will execute Session_End eventhandler.
Session.Clear() is like removing books from the bookshelf
Session.Abandon() is like throwing the bookshelf itself.

Please tell me difference between what you think is "killed"? and why you want session to be "killed"?

have you tried my answer in code? what's the thing that you want to achieve is not satisfied in that?

Just because in your terminology there is something called "kill a session" does not mean Asp.net has to provide something called "Session.kill()"
