Hi Team

Does anyone has some samples written in asp.net mvc 5, where it shows how to create a blog forums for developers and engineers to be engaged on any topic. Where a user can get a responce back to any topic related, similar to this one or stackoverflow.

database development takes time , you need flow diagram , you need to discuss the requirement and then note that down then analyze that atleast 20-30 tables , if am not wrong this forum is huge and if it uses sql server table then it will atleast have 50 tables.
start creating database and show us what have you done so far.

i am just guessing , there will be alot more tables , consult to DBA for professional help.

Ok thanks Sachin, this helps a lot at least have more idea to work, UI part will work it out. The back end is import to pull back the data with correct values.

Ok i see what they are doing with the documentation, now my question would then be. How many table definition would i need? e.g "Question", "Answer", "Thread/Post". What i want to achieve must be similar like this forum here i hope make sense

you can use Asp.Net MVC with signalR for real time applications , suppose you have a table called as Questions then as soon as a new question is added to it means as soon as database changes the chnage must reflect to the UI without being refreshed by user and you can achieve this with SignalR.
