What are the most important symmetric ecryption algorithms ?

I mean I want to choose some efficient and useful symmetric encryption algorithms for implementation them, So please suggest list of these algorithms to me. Thank you

Hi,
Symmetric encryption is a type of encryption where only one key (a secret key) is used to both encrypt and decrypt electronic information.
Some examples of symmetric encryption algorithms include:
AES (Advanced Encryption Standard),DES (Data Encryption Standard),IDEA (International Data Encryption Algorithm),Blowfish (Drop-in replacement for DES or IDEA),RC4 (Rivest Cipher 4),RC5 (Rivest Cipher 5),RC6 (Rivest Cipher 6)
