AJAX stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. AJAX is a technique for creating fast and dynamic web pages. Click Here For AJEX History

The main purpose of using AJEX is for partial page refresh. Partial page refresh means refresh the content or portion of the page without refreshing the whole page.
