An Azure Virtual Machine (VM) is like a computer that runs in the cloud.
You can choose Windows or Linux.
You can use it to run your apps, websites, or test code just like you would on your own laptop or server.
You can log in remotely and install whatever you want.
It’s available anytime from anywhere, and you can make it bigger or smaller depending on what you need.
Think of it as renting a computer from Microsoft that’s always online.
