I think there is no official definition of Big Data. For a definition of it I think we must ask the person using the term.
Large amounts of data (big data) have existed for a long time, nearly as long as computers have existed, and before AI existed. Therefore asking how big data will impact AI seems irrelevant to me. AI has existed for many years too.
I think an important question is how recent developments in hardware for AI will have an impact on uses of AI. It is the hardware developments that are causing AI to be used more.
