What technologies to be learned to create a Android App

In the market so many languages for the mobile development. I am confused to select which one suit to develop an anroid app

I am from Microsoft web technologies background. i worked on angularjs, ASP.MVC, Entityframework and sql server. To develop a android app which language to choose for the development?

i would appreciate if you provide the input.

since i am from micorsoft background looking for using similar technology to create the android app. Like phone gap can be used for developing android app. would you please advise which one will be easy to start for me
