When and how the exe file can be updated?

Hi,

I am not familiar with C#.
After changed something in my code, I got error message when run WindowsFormsApplication1/bin/Debug/....exe file. By check the Date modified of this exe file, I found it didn't updated accordingly.
I then tried to do Build/Build Solution and Rebuild Solution but the exe file still not be updated.

Can you help?

Hi,

After talk to experts here I eventually found my stupid mistake:
Actually, every time I run my program, the default executed file WindowsFormsApplication1.exe is updated. A few days ago, I changed the name to a meaningful name, but I forgot it! I thought why it never be updated whatever I change in my program!!
