Hello,
I am making an application to be targetted to mobile phone browsers in Japan.
Just installed Visual Studio 2008, and the Mobile Web Application templates have all disappeared.
I have seen this blog entry which sounded promissing...
http://blogs.msdn.com/webdevtools/archive/2007/09/17/tip-trick-asp-net-mobile-development-with-visual-studio-2008.aspx
But the attachment is gone!
Anybody know what's happening with mobile web development in Visual Studio 2008? Is there anywhere I can get any sort of starter-kit/templates ?
I've looked long and hard for hints, but nobody seems to be talking about this. There must be something I'm missing.
Any pointers at all would be very appreciated.
Cheers,
piv

Hi
yes it is missing. Well, it is not shipped by default in Visual Studio 2008, but Omar Khan from the Web Development Tools Team has put up a few templates that can be downloaded and brings in those Mobile Templates required for creating mobile web applications.
Check out the below link
