Kahn,
Thanks for the detailed explanation. That seems to make sense to me.
This is a place Java programmer does things differently. In Java,
System.out.prinltn()
outputs something to a server console where a web app starts or IDE in which an application runs.

David

So for the console Application means for the Dos thing we use Console.WriteLine() in the C#(that Display the String in the DOS), but if you are using the C# with the ASP.NET(i.e web technology), so if you need to display the Data in the Browser in the Same Manner like DOS then you will have to need some ASP.NET object like Response Object.so you can write Response.Write(""); or Response.WriteLine("");
Thanks.

>>Console.Writeline() ouputs results to the standard screen, similar to the DOS-like screen.
I am doing ASP.NET in C#. Does that mean Console.Writeline() leaves no trace? Or where can I find this DOS-like screen in an ASP.NET app?
Thanks!!!

Satish,
Thanks for your reply!
So, in a ASP.NET application, Console.WriteLine does not leave any trace in the logs or screens or anywhere?
Regard,
David
