Writing a stream to the console

If this is just a Stream object, a memorystream or a binaryreader you'll need to know how you want it to LOOK and what kind of data is in there. If you want to display 8 bytes per line as hex values, if you want 1 byte per line as a decimal number, etc. If you know for sure that this is text, you would just display the ASCII character for each byte, watching specifically for CR and LR chars. If this is a text stream such as a StreamReader, you would do something like this: string s; while(s = myreader.ReadLine() != null) { Console.WriteLine(s); }
