Few main diff between gridview and repeater is
1. pagin possible in grid view but not in repeater
2. data can edit in grid view but not in repeator
3.It displays data as a table and has ability to preform sort, paging,edit and delete a record.
but i seen ,we can perform dml operation in repeater ??
