Xamarian or Cordova

Anyone who has worked on both platforms - Xamarian or Cordova -

Can you please answer, which is better - in terms of performance and targeting multi-platform especially Apple?

Which is easy to learn?

Which one I should learn as a new skill?

Hello Nilesh..I think Xamarin is better than cordova and also pretty awesome. However the licensing can be pricey if you need to use Visual Studio ($83/month per developer per platform). The latest version of Visual Studio does also support Cordova and they make it pretty simple to develop (Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova)

Overall, I would recommend Xamarin if cost is not an issue as it's simply so much more powerful then Cordova HTML 5 based apps. You will also be able to reuse C# logic/business code from your ASP. NET projects.For more information please follow this links:

Both have its pros.an cons But given my choice I Will go.to the xamarine as it is.native an not a js based platform Remember xamarine is a native an Cordova needs another engine to convert it's code.to the droid or ios specific So there will be always potential performance issues with the Cordova Personally I will go with xamarine as I don't need to go for scripting language an everything will.be managed in c# Jus for reference go.through this once https://www.quora.com/Which-one-is-better-Xamarin-or-Apache-Cordova
