We can manage database and operating system resources, such as:

1. CPU usage
2. Degree of parallelism
3. Number of active sessions
4. Undo generation
5. Operation execution time
6. Idle time
   

We can also specify criteria that, if met, cause the automatic switching of sessions to another consumer group.
