Introduction
As an Application Developer at IBM, you will be an integral part of one of the IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers). These centers deliver technical and industry expertise to diverse public and private sector clients globally. The role emphasizes the translation of system requirements into the design and development of customized systems within an agile environment. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in transforming business needs into code, driving innovation, and supporting both IBM and its global clientele.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on HANA version of ABAP.
- Develop highly complex application components, integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects on multiple platforms.
- Possess working knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules, ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core Data Services, and more.
- Modify standard layout sets in SAP Scripts, Smart forms & Adobe Forms.
- Hands-on experience in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Reports).
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 4-12 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP Development Tools, Code Performance Rules for SAP HANA, ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core Data Services, and more.
- Experience in designing and developing data dictionary objects, data elements, domains, structures, views, lock objects, and search helps.
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience in Implementation, Upgrade, Maintenance, and Post-Production support projects.
- Understanding of SAP functional requirements and conversion into Technical design using ABAP Language for various project components.
