We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Security Engineer with expertise in Automotive Cybersecurity. This role involves developing and deploying advanced security methodologies to safeguard vehicular systems against emerging threats. The successful candidate will engage in designing secure embedded systems, conducting penetration tests, and implementing robust security measures in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Security Assessment & Penetration Testing
- Develop and implement methodologies for vehicular security assessment based on ISO 21434 and UN ECE norms.
- Design and execute embedded attack vectors for penetration testing within vehicle networks and ECUs to identify vulnerabilities.
Cybersecurity Testing Automation
- Create approaches for automating Cybersecurity Functional Testing and FUZZ testing to enhance automotive cybersecurity.
Embedded System Security
- Design and develop Secure Flashing and Secure Bootloader systems to provide low-level security for ECUs.
- Integrate Hardware Trust Anchors (HSM / ICUM) and HSM-based security services into vehicle embedded systems, performing thorough integration testing.
Secure Communication Development
- Develop secure vehicular communication protocols with a focus on embedded security, cryptography, and PKI/TLS.
Network Security & IDS
- Design and develop CAN Intrusion Detection Systems (CAN IDS) to monitor and protect vehicle networks.
Benchmarking & Documentation
- Conduct benchmarking, research industry trends, and document automotive security requirements.
Job Specific Skills
Programming & Scripting
- Proficient in C / C++, Embedded C Programming, and scripting languages such as Python / Perl.
Embedded Systems Expertise
- Experience with microcontrollers, various hardware boards, cross-compilers, and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with CAN tools like CANAnalyzer, CANoe, VehicleSPY, ValueCAN.
Automotive Cybersecurity Standards
- Knowledge of security assessment based on ISO 21434 and UN ECE norms, including Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Analysis, and Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS).
Protocols & Tools
- Understanding of AUTOSAR, CAN Protocol, UDS Protocol, and in-vehicle network communications.
- Experience with FUZZ testing, cybersecurity functional testing, and integration testing.
Advanced Security Concepts
- Expertise in HSM-based security services, secure communication, key management, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with embedded penetration testing, sniffing/spoofing tools, and generating embedded attack vectors.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Automotive ECUs, Secure Bootloaders, Secure Flashing, Autosar Crypto, JTAG, Gateway Modules, infotainment systems, CAN IDS, and Firewalls.
