Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Design. Architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS platform, aligning with business requirements and security best practices.
- AWS Service Implementation. Deploy and optimize AWS cloud services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and more to meet business needs and enhance resource utilization.
- Cloud Security Management. Develop and enforce security controls, policies, and procedures to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability, adhering to industry standards.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM). Configure and manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions to control access to AWS resources and uphold least privilege principles.
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response. Implement real-time security monitoring tools and processes to detect and respond to security threats and incidents promptly.
- Compliance and Governance. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies, conducting regular audits to maintain a secure and compliant cloud environment.
- Cloud Cost Optimization. Optimize cloud resource usage and costs through effective provisioning, monitoring, and capacity planning, leveraging AWS cost management tools.
- Cloud Automation and Orchestration. Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline cloud provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using AWS CloudFormation, CLI, etc.
- Cloud Backup and Disaster Recovery. Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions on AWS to ensure business continuity and data resilience.
- Cloud Training and Knowledge Sharing. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship on AWS cloud services and security best practices to foster continuous learning and innovation within the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management, with a focus on AWS cloud services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Hands-on expertise in configuring and managing AWS services and security tools.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Advantages
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with other cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of industry frameworks and standards for cloud security and compliance.
