Role. Azure Data Engineer

Responsibilities
As an Azure Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform. Your responsibilities include:
Hands-On Experience
- Proficient in Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Building pipelines and orchestrating pipelines.
- Implementing a metadata ingestion framework.
- Utilizing storage services like Blob or ADLS Gen 2.
- Knowledge on Service Principal, Managed Identities, Linked Service, Dataset, Self-hosted Runtime integration services.
Scheduling Services
- Knowledge of scheduling services such as Azure Logic App.
Azure Infrastructure
- Basic understanding of how Azure Data Factory connects to ADLS Gen 2 or databases securely.
API Management
- Basic knowledge of API management, such as Oracle APIM or Kong API and Postman.
Relational Databases
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases and SQL (SQL server or any other relational database).
- Good to have knowledge of PL/SQL.
Azure Administration
Experience in Azure administration for services like Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, LogicApps, Keyvault, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Defender.
- Good to Have
- Azure DevOps
- Working experience on Azure DevOps.
- Setting up and managing pipelines, repositories, Azure compliancy, and Azure permissions.
Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep or ARM templates or Terraform.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure and administration.
