Why This Role Is Important to Us
In the Deployment product area, we are establishing a scrum team pivotal in developing new Deployment pipelines crucial for SimCorp's digital transformation. As an Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality backend frameworks and pipeline solutions, collaborating closely with teams in Noida and across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Ownership and Collaboration. Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of Azure-hosted services and deployment pipelines.
- Deployment Automation. Build robust automation pipelines for deploying a large, mission-critical system, enabling efficient DevOps practices.
- Architectural Enhancement. Collaborate with Tech Leads, System Architects, and Dimension developers to address architectural challenges and enhance deployment automation.
- DevOps Advocacy. Support development teams in adopting DevOps practices, promoting frequent deployment, feature flags, and telemetry-driven learning.
- Best Practices. Advocate and implement best engineering practices within the team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Problem Solving. Engage in design sessions, tackle complex problems independently or collaboratively, and share insights and learnings across the team.
Your Qualifications
- Technical Expertise. 5-8 years of .NET platform experience with strong API development skills (OWASP, OpenAPI).
- Cloud Engineering. 3+ years of experience as a cloud engineer with Azure Cloud, including design and development of Azure solutions.
- Azure Proficiency. Extensive knowledge of Azure services and models (Compute, Storage, Networking, Azure DevOps, AKS, IAM/RBAC, etc.), CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, PowerShell, ARM, Kubernetes, Helm or Terraform).
- Problem Solving. Enhanced troubleshooting skills prioritizing customer experience, proactive in problem-solving.
- Attitude. Positive, constructive mindset, proactive in code improvement and continuous learning.
- Adaptability. Comfortable in agile environments, adaptable to evolving project scopes and goals.
