Job Description

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of guiding our customers in leveraging the full potential of Google Cloud Platform for their data needs. From ingestion to visualization, you'll work with clients to design and implement scalable data processing systems tailored to their requirements. Your responsibilities will include data migration and modernization projects, designing data storage and processing infrastructure using cloud-native products, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data through robust governance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex customer requirements into solution architectures and advisory services.
  • Lead high-velocity migration and modernization projects to Google Cloud Platform.
  • Design, build, and operationalize data storage and processing infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement data migration strategies for various database types.
  • Establish data quality and governance procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
  • Proficiency in client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with big data solutions in virtualized environments.
  • Familiarity with IaC and CI/CD tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
  • Knowledge of data processing algorithms, frameworks, and machine learning.
  • Experience in migrating databases and building high-availability applications.
