We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS Cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and Kubernetes. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, management, and automation while following best practices for modular, reusable code.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes. Certification as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is highly preferred.
- Integrate and manage cloud-native security tools such as Checkpoint, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Detective to ensure compliance, threat detection, and incident response.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, development, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, enforce security policies, and optimize system performance.
- Participate in system architecture discussions, propose best-fit solutions, and support decision-making with a security-first approach.
- Provide support for troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues across multiple environments.
- Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
- Stay up to date with the latest cloud trends, services, tools, and best practices, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and innovation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working in AWS environments, with a deep understanding of core services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, and RDS.
- Solid experience using Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure in a cloud-native environment.
- Proven expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters, with a strong preference for candidates who hold the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS security services and tools (Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Detective).
- Familiarity with implementing best practices in cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), network security, and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a knack for debugging complex issues in a distributed system.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, must be comfortable working in a cross-functional team.
