Job Description
Core Skills
- Experience in Core Java, J2EE, Soap/Restful web services.
- Should have hands-on experience with Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, and Maven.
- Proficiency in JPA (Java Persistence API) is essential.
- Must have a proven track record of developing and working on microservices from inception to completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a prerequisite.
- Exposure to Database Schema design and hands-on experience with PL/SQL coding on Oracle.
- Capable of writing DDL, DML, and complex queries for effective database management.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with AGILE and SCRUM methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement microservices using Java technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of microservices.
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to resolve issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the development of cutting-edge solutions.
- Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on microservices development.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
