We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our development engineering team as an individual contributor. In this role, you will be involved in the development of new features and the maintenance of existing features across various stages of the software development lifecycle. We encourage individuals who are passionate about driving product features, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a deep understanding of Java and JavaScript technologies to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product features from design inception to development, QA testing, and production, ensuring high quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Write well-structured object-oriented code and UML designs.
- Work in an agile Scrum-based process model.
- Design, architect, and develop applications for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Write and test interactive, clean, secure, and efficient solutions.
- Solve complex coding and architecture problems with simple and innovative solutions.
- Deliver features by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering Management, Architects, and Quality teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering from a prestigious institute with at least 4 years of hands-on work experience as a programmer/developer with a reputed software product company.
- Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like React and Vue.js.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git/Github or other version control systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD and deployment processes for frontend and backend applications.
- Solid understanding of databases, XML technologies, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop creative solutions.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new programming paradigms, languages, tools, and problem areas.
- Familiarity with Windows/Mac/Unix operating systems and development tools.
- Outstanding organizational, presentation, and social skills.
