Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Consultant – ServiceNow Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing production tasks, including ServiceNow application maintenance and version upgrades. You will coordinate upgrades to production and sub-production instances, oversee sub-production testing, and handle day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform. Your role will involve coding/configuring technical solutions, integrating ServiceNow with external tools, and supporting the platform's overall integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, including version upgrades and day-to-day administration.
  • Participate in solution discussions and contribute to user story creation.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and Technical Leads.
  • Code/configure technical solutions according to requirements, and perform unit testing to resolve defects.
  • Develop features, bug fixes, and write various server-side and client-side scripts.
  • Implement ServiceNow integrations using Spokes and custom APIs with external tools.
  • Manage production support tasks, coordinate sub-production testing, evaluation, and regression remediation.
  • Stay updated with new ServiceNow capabilities and maintain the platform's integrity.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and monitor/review patch/release issues.
  • Communicate effectively with a remote team via phone and email.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA) in ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
  • Experience in administering the Now Platform.
  • Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript, debugging, and deployment using update sets.
  • Proficiency with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, APIs, and Service Portal.
  • Web Services integration experience, particularly REST.
  • IT Graduate.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (MCAD).
