We are seeking a skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in risk management, security information and event management (SIEM), and other key areas of cybersecurity. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our security posture, ensuring robust protection against threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Management. Assess and mitigate risks to the organization's information systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational policies.
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents using SIEM tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Security Operation Centre (SOC). Collaborate with the SOC team to manage and respond to security incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact.
- Firewall Management. Configure and manage firewall policies to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.
- Governance and Compliance. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, implementing necessary controls and practices to meet governance requirements.
- Vulnerability Assessment. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address weaknesses in the infrastructure and applications.
- Network Security. Implement and maintain network security measures to safeguard against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Infrastructure Security. Protect the organization's IT infrastructure from internal and external threats through effective security measures and controls.
Qualifications
- Experience. Proven experience in risk management, SIEM, SOC operations, firewall management, and network/infrastructure security.
- Certifications. CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and CCSP certifications are highly desirable.
- Skills. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Availability. Willingness to support US business hours (6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST).
