Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data governance strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Design and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework encompassing data classification, ownership, stewardship, and quality management.
- Utilize Alation to create and manage a robust data catalog, ensuring accurate metadata for all data assets.
- Leverage Qualytics to monitor and analyze data quality, resolving issues to promote accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality standards, ownership models, and access controls.
- Conduct training programs on data governance concepts and tools for stakeholders.
- Define methods for measuring data quality and policy adherence.
- Enable client teams on best practices for documenting data sets, lineage, glossaries, and dictionaries.
- Stay abreast of emerging data governance trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle management.
- 4+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Alation, Qualytics, SQL, Python, or similar tools/languages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with ticket-based systems such as JIRA.
- Domain knowledge in Real Estate is a plus.
