Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in implementing and configuring QoS/Traffic shaping across various SD WAN/Routers and firewalls.
• Experience in creating, deploying, and configuring MPLS/VPN (Mesh/Site to Site) on SD WAN and Cisco networks.
• Expertise in firewall management and resolving access-related issues such as ACLs, NAT, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with Proxy servers like Zscaler or Forcepoint.
• Management and upgrading of Routers and Switches.
• Familiarity with Cisco Nexus Switch family.
• Troubleshooting NAC related issues.
• Wireless LAN controller management and troubleshooting network connectivity.
• Configuring redundant networks using protocols HSRP, BGP, and static routing.
• Implementing site-to-site VPN with different vendors and updating details as per requirements.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and collaborating with domain experts to address gaps.
• Strong proficiency in network security devices including Cisco/Checkpoint/Juniper firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN (client to site and site to site), Internet gateway, etc.
• Extensive experience with Cisco 6500/4500/3750 series switches.
• Thorough understanding of switching concepts VLAN/VTP/STP/QoS/Ether-channel/redundancy protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Load balancers.
• Good knowledge of Routing protocols mainly OSPF & BGP.
• Familiarity with Wireless LAN, WLC & ACS, Remote access VPN, VOIP.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco switching and routing and MPLS technology.
• Working knowledge of SD WAN technology.
• Ability to manage network-related projects.
• Capability to identify and isolate network faults and liaise with respective OEMs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
