The Opportunity
As a data scientist within the Growth Org and Engagement organization, you'll play a vital role in driving analytics-based insights to enhance engaging experiences for our B2B users. We're seeking a candidate passionate about extracting impactful customer insights from large datasets, employing descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics techniques. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and technical skills, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and influences data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive analytics for user revenue growth programs and A/B tests, analyzing results and communicating insights.
- Collaborate with product managers to understand product/customer behavior, using insights to make recommendations for enhancing customer experience and engagement.
- Specialize in stitching and calibrating sparse and noisy data across various sources.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis needs to deepen understanding of customer behavior.
- Develop reporting frameworks/resources for partners to access information independently.
- Partner with product analytics, Go-To-Market, and Campaign teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science, Analytics/Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven track record in a data science/analytics role.
- Experience in hypothesis testing and A/B test analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL/Spark SQL for working with large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g., Databricks), creating DAGs, and running data pipelines.
- Expertise in developing reports/dashboards using Tableau & Power BI; Adobe Analytics experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stitch and QA multiple data sources.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize large-scale datasets into clear, impactful insights.
- Curiosity, passion, and motivation to learn new skills, tools, and analytics techniques.
- Flexibility to work across North American time zones, primarily Pacific Time (PST/PDT).
