Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will investigate and resolve technical issues, provide level 2 technical support, perform root cause analysis for production errors, build tools to enhance customer experience and develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
Responsibilities
As part of the DevOps team, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing blind spots in applications and infrastructure, focusing on enhancing monitoring capabilities. Your responsibilities will include.
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure applications meet cloud environment requirements.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams on AWS and EMR best practices.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to AWS and EMR solutions.
- Offering support for production systems running on AWS and EMR.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications.
- Experience in collaborating with development teams to ensure applications are cloud-ready.
- Strong technical leadership skills and the ability to provide guidance on AWS and EMR best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS and EMR technologies.
- Understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EMR, and CloudFormation.
