We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position with immediate availability. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in .NET development, with a strong proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, C#, and cloud technologies, particularly AWS. This role requires a deep understanding of RESTful services, SQL databases, and a passion for building scalable and efficient applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust web applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and C#.
- Design and implement RESTful services for seamless integration with various systems.
- Utilize cloud technologies, primarily AWS, including Neptune, DynamoDB, RDS SQL, and EC2 hosting.
- Implement SOAP, REST, and Web API-based web service protocols.
- Architect and implement microservices using .NET Core middleware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective DevOps practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Utilize logging tools such as Kibana, Elastic search, and Log stash for effective monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Employ Microsoft Enterprise Library and Entity Framework for efficient data access and management.
- Adhere to best practices in software development, including version control and code reviews.
- Implement event-driven architectures to ensure scalability and responsiveness of applications.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in .NET development.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, C#, and .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS services.
- Experience with SQL databases and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework and LINQ to SQL.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as XUnit.
- Solid understanding of event-based architectures and microservices.
