As an AEM Developer, you will be responsible for website front-end development, AEM dynamic component/bundle development, and the development of AEM back-end applications. Your role is crucial in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of AEM-based solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Java-based Servlet API Development and Testing. Develop and test Java-based Servlet APIs to enhance application functionality.
- Development Request Analysis and Execution. Analyze, develop, and inspect development requests to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Documentation. Create necessary documents for development processes, including deploy requests, development test results, and code review results.
- Quality Assurance. Conduct code inspections, security checks, unit tests, integrated tests, and other quality procedures during development.
- Issue Response. Handle security issues, failures, and unpack events along with other application-related problems.
- Schedule Compliance. Adhere to development schedules as requested by clients (HQ side).
- Security Request Processing. Address security-related requests for development and operation tasks.
Skills and Attributes
Essential
- Technical Knowledge. Proficiency in AEM platform and development skills.
- Development Skills. AEM, CRX, Sling, OSGI, HTL, and DAM utilization abilities.
- API and Web Services. Experience with SOAP, REST API, and web service development.
- Java Development. Strong Java development skills.
- Front-end Development. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Tools. Experience with Jenkins and GitHub.
- AEM Design and Development. Capability in AEM template, component design, and development.
- Experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in AEM platform-based development with a thorough understanding of all AEM building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc.
Advantageous
- Web Security. Knowledge of web security practices, including XSS, plain text transmission, SQL injection, etc.
- Project Experience. Previous experience in AEM platform-based development projects.
- Personal Attributes. Proactive, independent, responsible attitude with good teamwork and hands-on approach.
- Development Experience. Rich experience in both front-end and back-end development.
