Job Overview
DIS is seeking an individual who is looking to enhance their highly developed Enterprise Active Directory skills and experience along with the opportunity to grow their leadership capability by leading a team of technical professionals. This position is actively involved in global Active Directory (AD) design, architecture, security, migrations, and consolidations and provides ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of complex Enterprise Active Directory environment.
Principal Responsibilities
•Resolve highly complex technical issues and conduct advanced research applicable to the Enterprise Active Directory infrastructure.
•Recommend alterations to development and designs that improve quality of systems and/or procedures, and provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of the complex Enterprise Active Directory infrastructure.
•Fitting forest and/or Organizational Unit (OU) structure to support organizational needs.
•Modify (extending) the AD schema to meet specific location/user needs.
•Manage root Group Policies (GPO’s) and assist OU administrators with GPO’s while maintaining the highest standard of infrastructure security at all times.
•Establish and maintain Active Directory design and operations documentation.
•Provide escalated (Level III) help desk support.
•Plan and manage the execution of special IT projects.
•Adhere to and help shape policies and procedures, as well as implement appropriate controls and compliance monitoring to effectively deliver and safeguard information assets.
•Supervises staff responsible for customer technical support, implementation of technical projects, and infrastructure changes.
•Manages multiple tasks utilizing above average organizing and planning skills; prioritize and follow-up effectively on routine and/or new tasks for self and direct reports.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience.
