As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. You will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to production support and optimization. You will lead a team of engineers, mentor them, and help in adopting best practices and innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications using Java technologies.
- Implement responsive and visually appealing front-end interfaces using TypeScript, React, and modern CSS frameworks.
- Develop and maintain server-side components and APIs, integrating with RESTful services and JSON.
- Lead and mentor a team of up to 25 engineers and IT professionals.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing engineering talent.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Involve in strategy through execution, providing rapid prototypes early in the design phase.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Guide work prioritization in alignment with strategic objectives and monitor performance.
- Adopt DevSecOps principles with a focus on Behavior Driven Development and code coverage.
- Lead teams in DevOps, SRE, observability, and release management to achieve high release success rates.
- Utilize Agile/Scrum, SAFE, Kanban, and Lean practices to drive project efficiency.
- Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other IT teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.
- Present technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner.
Requirements
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including end-to-end delivery and team leadership.
- 7+ years of experience with Java.
- 5+ years of experience with TypeScript, ES10, React, and modern CSS frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with REST API, JSON, LDAP, and Active Directory integration.
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, NoSQL, and cloud technologies (Azure, AKS, AWS, GCP).
- 2+ years of experience with oAuth2.0 and security essentials.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with a background in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in cloud-based technologies and engineering frameworks.
- Experience with infrastructure tools (e.g., F5, DataPower, Firewalls) and health insurance industry knowledge is a plus.
- Exposure to DevSecOps processes and Agile, SAFE, Kanban, Lean practices.
