Joining Emerson as a Graduate Engineer Trainee - Software offers you the opportunity to work with an innovative team in the industrial automation industry. You'll be part of the digitization movement, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work on cutting-edge technologies like cloud computing, AI/ML, and more.
Responsibilities
- Develop frontend and backend software, manage databases, and ensure code quality through tools like SonarCloud and ReSharper.
- Develop unit test scripts, perform unit testing, and contribute to agile project methodologies.
- Work closely with Technical Architects to support the development of technical architectures.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to estimate efforts and prioritize requirements backlog.
- Participate in Agile Scrum teams to develop software applications, gaining hands-on experience in full-stack development.
Who You Are
- Passionate about technology and eager to learn and grow within the industrial automation industry.
- Knowledgeable in Full Stack Software Development with exposure to technologies such as node.js, .NET Core, Angular, JavaScript, WPF, WCF, C#, .NET, MVC, etc.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Development, Power BI Report Configuration, and software testing methodologies including Manual Testing and Automation Testing (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, CodedUI, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
- Exposure to Salesforce reporting and Tableau CRM would be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of Python/R is a plus.
