Your Role

• Performing take-offs and quantifying equipment and device counts from bid documents.
• Interpreting sequences of operations for point counts, materials, required control devices, and specifications.
• Creating system network riser diagrams and developing Bills of Material (BOM) and Scopes of Work (SOW).
• Coordinating with procurement teams and sales executives to develop subcontractor technical bid packages and obtain quotes from outside vendors.
• Communicating and collaborating with remote sales and operations teams.
• Utilizing company design, bid, and quote tools and maintaining complete documentation for all work performed.

Your Success is Grounded in

• A Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably, successful experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and demonstrated competencies in BAS components.
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and the ability to read and interpret bid specifications.
• Familiarity with estimating/quoting systems, building codes and regulations, and the building construction process.
• Fluency in English and French (for those supporting Quebec).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• The ability to interpret customer requirements, identify needs, and resolve issues positively.
• Adaptability to shifting demands and competing priorities to manage time effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
