Job Profile. Handbag Designer and Buyer (Part-time)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with our innovative design team to conceive and craft pioneering handbag designs.
• Translate conceptualizations into intricate sketches and digital renditions of handbag prototypes.
• Aid in the exploration and procurement of sustainable materials and vegan alternatives for our product line.
• Contribute to the fabrication of prototypes and sample products.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in vegan and sustainable fashion.
• Provide support to the design team in their day-to-day endeavors and ventures.
• Undertake ownership of the entire creative process, from inception to final prototype, ensuring alignment with market research, inspiration, CAD's, tech sheets, sizing, hardware selection, and meeting the targeted customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or a cognate field.
• Possess a fervent zeal for handbag design, fashion, veganism, and sustainability.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Exhibit excellent sketching and rendering capabilities.
• Familiarity with sustainable materials and production methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative aptitudes.
