Ensures and maintains data integrity utilizing audit and scrub utilities and reports in the systems.
Identifies, communicates and fixes data integrity and system issues as necessary
Works with HR Functional areas in interpreting business requirements and presenting system configuration solutions to meet these business requirements.
Assist with implementation of work processes and systems solutions that support business initiatives, enhance the value and integrity of data and create an efficient system environment for users.
Using system tools and templates to extract and import data into various different systems, including report administration, and user support.
Maintains and updates system table information and option lists (e.g. Company hierarchy tables for position management, vacation entitlements table).
Support the scheduled transfers of secure data/information interface files from the main HRMS to other systems internally and externally.
This includes coordinating the change management processes for new and existing interface files, user acceptance testing and documentation. Assist in the creation of new interface files.
Provides input and support in the selection, design and delivery of HR technology/system initiatives that support HR programs and streamline HR operations.
Serves as back up support to the HR Metrics Analyst.
A combination of education and work experience equivalent to five (5) years with IT, database administration and/or HR Systems (HRMS) experience or equivalent.
A thorough knowledge of HR administrative practices and legislative policies; CHRP, CCP or other post-secondary HR training an asset.
Strong analytical skills, including an ability to track, analyze and interpret numbers and data, make recommendations based on data extrapolation in a clear and logical manner to both managers and peers.
Advanced capability with software applications and tools including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, SQL Query Analyzer.
Experience with data management/database report writing and a knowledge of SQL are requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work cross-functionally within the organization and with vendors to enhance tracking systems and integrate data from a variety of sources.
Must show initiative, be attentive to detail, customer service focused, able to multi-task and handle pressure, as well as be able to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive issues in a professional manner.
