Key Responsibilities
- Platform Development. Designing and building robust platforms for data capture, storage, processing, and querying.
Data Product Development
- Personalization & recommendation platforms
- Customer segmentation & intelligence systems
- Data insights engines for strategic decisions
- Customer engagement platforms for personalized multi-channel communications
Technology Experience
- Data Handling. Extensive experience with large data sets, designing, and building robust data architecture.
- Data Modeling. Proficient in data modeling and database design.
- Big Data Technologies. 6+ years of hands-on experience with Spark/Big Data tech stack and stream processing engines such as Spark Structured Streaming or Flink.
- Analytical Processing. Experience in analytical processing on Big Data using Spark.
- Programming Languages. At least 6+ years of experience in Scala.
- System Management. Expertise in administration, configuration management, monitoring, and performance tuning of Spark workloads and distributed platforms.
- Cloud Deployment. 2+ years of cloud deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Product Deployments. Proven experience in deploying big data technologies like Business Data Lake and NoSQL databases.
- Architectural Leadership. Experience in architecting and implementing domain-centric big data solutions, with the ability to frame architectural decisions and provide technology leadership and direction.
- Skills. Excellent problem-solving, hands-on engineering capabilities, and communication skills.
