Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead engineers through an enterprise Agile development process.
- Conduct team design sessions.
- Provide architectural direction for the team.
- Guide the team during planning sessions, including PI planning efforts.
- Lead the team through the technical estimation process.
Development
- Develop, test, debug, maintain, modify, and install moderately complex software programs with limited direction.
- Apply structured programming techniques and adhere to coding standards.
- Participate in code walkthroughs.
Analysis and Design
- Analyze technical requirements and determine modifications or new development needs.
- Document and analyze test results to ensure technical requirements are met.
- Update technical requirements documentation in partnership with designers.
Documentation
- Develop program specifications, flowcharts, and internal documentation.
- Prepare online help, FAQs, user guides, and operational instruction manuals.
Communication
- Convey problems, solutions, updates, and project status to peers, customers, and management.
- Develop and maintain program, systems, and user documentation.
Planning
- Prepare time estimates for assigned tasks.
- Attend post-implementation reviews.
Team Coaching and Mentoring
- Provide direction and coaching to the development team on best practices.
- Mentor team members to develop their coding, testing, and debugging skills.
- Provide guidance during planning and design sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps technologies in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with .NET/TFS build automation.
- Experience with test automation (Coded UI, data-driven web service testing).
