At BOLD, we're in search of a Technical Specialist who possesses a deep understanding of functional, technical, and architectural aspects, capable of translating these insights into low-level technical designs for our development team. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and collaborating with the technical architect, you'll be instrumental in shaping our platform services team, which is responsible for designing, creating, managing, and maintaining highly scalable and distributed services for web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive requirement analysis, coding, design, implementation, testing, and resolution of technical issues, along with meticulous technical documentation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to developers throughout the product lifecycle, from design to implementation and testing, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Facilitate team meetings with product stakeholders and project members to discuss schedules, milestones, and operational objectives.
• Lead discussions on technical design solutions, selecting appropriate frameworks, and consistently applying design patterns.
• Act as a liaison between multiple teams as necessary, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
• Conduct functional, design, and code reviews within the team and across teams to ensure quality and consistency.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and share insights for potential project applications.
• Manage a comprehensive toolset for streamlined development and lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior management to communicate project risks and devise strategies for mitigation.

Requirements

• Proficient hands-on experience in MVC and C#, along with expertise in SQL Server queries.
• Strong grasp of web concepts and experience with RESTful services and Web API.
• Familiarity with design patterns and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience in database design and management.
• It is good to have exposure to Azure and distributed computing and microservices architecture.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to devise strategies for monetization and evolution of solutions.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the technology landscape.

Experience. Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Technical Lead role.
