As a Lead Software Engineer - Golang at MakeMyTrip, you will play a pivotal role in leading the technical direction and development efforts of our software projects. You will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to all aspects of software development, from initial design to final deployment and maintenance. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and ability to innovate will be critical in driving the success of our products.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to all aspects of software development including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
- Build cutting-edge scalable systems by writing simple and efficient code in GoLang.
- Push design and architecture limits for new product development.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders within the MMT family to successfully execute projects.
- Ensure compliance with build/release and configuration management processes.
- Responsible for ongoing maintenance of our application back-end.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Agile Methodology, Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, and Responsive Designs.
- Hands-on experience with GoLang and proven track record in delivering results across multiple browsers/platforms.
- Experience with both relational (MySQL, Cassandra) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).
- Ability to thrive in complexity and a proactive approach to meeting tight project deadlines.
- Preferably have work experience in a product/start-up company.
