Job Description

Experience. 2 to 8 years

Key Responsibilities

  1. Linux System Administration. Installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Linux-based environments.
  2. RedHat & OpenShift Management. Working with RedHat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift container platforms for deployment and maintenance.
  3. Virtualization. Hands-on experience with Linux-based KVM Virtualization for creating, managing, and optimizing virtualized environments.
  4. Shell Scripting. Writing, modifying, and troubleshooting shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
  5. Backup & Storage Management. Managing LVM (Logical Volume Manager), configuring backups, and ensuring data integrity.
  6. Hardware Troubleshooting. Identifying and resolving hardware-related issues on servers, chassis, and HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) systems.
  7. Security & Compliance. Implementing security measures, performing system hardening, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Must-Have Skills

  1. Linux Administration. Strong hands-on experience in managing Linux-based operating systems, including RedHat.
  2. Openshift & Virtualization. Working knowledge of OpenShift container management and Linux-based KVM virtualization.
  3. Shell Scripting. Proficiency in Bash scripting for automating system tasks.
  4. Hardware Knowledge. Understanding of server hardware, chassis, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
  5. Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning. Ability to analyze and resolve Linux-related performance issues effectively.

Good-to-Have Skills

  1. RHCE Certification. Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is preferred.
  2. Basic Windows Administration. Familiarity with Windows OS administration at L1 level.
  3. Cloud Administration. Knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  4. Additional Hardware Experience. Hands-on experience with Dell, Lenovo, and HP server hardware.
