Experience. 2 to 8 years
Key Responsibilities
- Linux System Administration. Installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Linux-based environments.
- RedHat & OpenShift Management. Working with RedHat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift container platforms for deployment and maintenance.
- Virtualization. Hands-on experience with Linux-based KVM Virtualization for creating, managing, and optimizing virtualized environments.
- Shell Scripting. Writing, modifying, and troubleshooting shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Backup & Storage Management. Managing LVM (Logical Volume Manager), configuring backups, and ensuring data integrity.
- Hardware Troubleshooting. Identifying and resolving hardware-related issues on servers, chassis, and HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) systems.
- Security & Compliance. Implementing security measures, performing system hardening, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Must-Have Skills
- Linux Administration. Strong hands-on experience in managing Linux-based operating systems, including RedHat.
- Openshift & Virtualization. Working knowledge of OpenShift container management and Linux-based KVM virtualization.
- Shell Scripting. Proficiency in Bash scripting for automating system tasks.
- Hardware Knowledge. Understanding of server hardware, chassis, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
- Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning. Ability to analyze and resolve Linux-related performance issues effectively.
Good-to-Have Skills
- RHCE Certification. Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is preferred.
- Basic Windows Administration. Familiarity with Windows OS administration at L1 level.
- Cloud Administration. Knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Additional Hardware Experience. Hands-on experience with Dell, Lenovo, and HP server hardware.
