Position Overview
As an Engineering Manager at DataLabs, you will lead a team of talented developers and collaborate with heads of lines of businesses to create impactful solutions. Your responsibilities will include spearheading technology projects, mentoring team members, and delivering robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of customers to achieve financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers with expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems.
- Stay abreast of technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor other members of the engineering community.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that enhance the financial empowerment of customers.
- Utilize cloud-native technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Serverless to build scalable and resilient solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- 10+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, JavaScript, Angular.js, or Node.js.
- 5+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
- AWS Certification.
